Camp Barakel

The girls and I are heading up to Camp Barakel this weekend. This is a place that we've loved to go to for years, it is very relaxing. Our church youth group (including Rachel) were already scheduled to go, and Emily and I are tagging along.

Emily and I will just hang out and probably go to some of the chapels, but mainly recoup (and use the awesome tubing hill! - complete with tow rope back to the top!).

I'll be sure to take my camera for some fun shots of the weekend.

The first time I ever went to Camp Barakel life was feeling very heavy for me and God gave me a gift - of laughter and fun there.

May God bless you with the gift of laughter and a knowing of what a precious treasure you all are to Him.

I love Camp Barakel, especially the tubing hill - the tow rope is the best!

Camp Barakel hosts my campers in leadership training every year when we do a camp to camp comparison day. They are so sweet and accomodating. Have a great time.

Thanks for having this blog. It has been the only way for me to get to know my cousin and his family better. God bless you all.

Scott - What a great thing for you and Emily to do. I just went with our youth to a private resort up north and was very Blessed by it! Youth are amazing! I'm sure you were poured into while you were there and a tubing hill with a tow rope! Doesn't get any better than that!
God Bless ~ Stacie
